The dyed or newly combined veneer typical of HEITA is an innovative wood material that, thanks to its lightness, is ideal for making everyday objects. All HEITA products are made from multiple layers of high-quality veneer, with the outer layer determining the color.
The body is built up layer by layer from several high-quality veneers glued together. This technique makes it possible to create very fine, lightweight, yet highly stable products. The outer veneer layers are joined with a traditional dovetail joint. An important detail: for the bases (and the lids on lidded products), we use solid wood with vertical rather than flat growth rings. Vertical grain looks calmer and won't warp.
